Nose to the grindstone

I have transferred the detailed information pages on nearly 100 ISO27k standards from the old website into the Wix Content Management System, and made a start on structuring and formatting this website. Using a CMS makes it simpler to ensure consistency between the standards, and a little easier to maintain the information when things change - which happens roughly once a year per standard on average.
There's still quite a bit of work remaining, though, such as ensuring that quoted sections from the standards are current and correct, and outlining the strcture of all the standards that have contents listings (excluding those that are at the proposal stage). I will continue this indefinitely after the new site goes live: meanwhile, the information is "close enough for government work". It's more important, I feel, to complete the migration and launch the new website as-is.
Next, I'll be working on the ISO27k Toolkit and ISO27k FAQ, migrating content from the old to the new websites and taking the opportunity to check it over. Again, this will continue indefinitely as a maintenance activity.
Gradually, the new website structure and design is emerging naturally as things fall into place, with a bit of design input from me and, in time, feedback from you and other users ... which reminds me, I also need to work on the 'about us' and 'contact us' sections. No shortage of things on my to-do list, though it's good to see the ticks proliferating.
